About Burgers Medical Partners

The company Burgers Medical Partners is established by Michel Burgers in September 1996.

The aim of the company is to become an established international company with innovative products in a specialized market. The patient's needs are the drive to develop new products in close cooperation with professionals from the medical field.

For this aim we got in touch with the company Moje Keramik-Implantate, who developes and produces zirconium ceramic implants for finger and toe joints. These implants are developed to replace the natural joint, which could be destroyed for several reasons, or to replace other implants that don't function satisfactory.

During the last decade many surgeons have been noticing that for fingers and toes no good, durable implant was available, which fact encouraged the company Moje, in cooperation with Dr. Dieter Werner, who developed the idea, to develop an implant from a complete other material, that is taken up in the bone successfully and should give a long term stability.

The introduction in several markets in Europe and also in overseas markets, has proven that the Moje product is unique and that it can compete with every comparable product all over the world.

The development and production of the Moje implants is based on six registered patents and utility products.

Since 1996 the company Moje has been certified according to ISO 9001 and received a QS certificate for medical devices according to DIN EN ISO 13485 : 2001 (CE 1275).
