Burgers Medical Partners participated in the Netherlands Economic Mission to Turkey on May 24^th-28^th, 2004, headed by Mr. Laurens Jan Brinkhorst, Minister of Economic Affairs.

During this mission we were present at a reception with the Dutch Prince Willem-Alexander and his wife Princess Máxima. During this reception we had a personal conversation with the Prince.

Burgers Medical Partners active in sailing

On August 2^nd-7^th, 2008 Burgers Medical Sailing Team, sailing in Valk 833 'Summer Joy', participated in the 'Sneekweek 2008'. The Sneekweek is the biggest sailing race of open sailing-boat classes in Europe, this year with 830 boats participating, and it takes place on the Sneekermeer in the North of the Netherlands. Some days the wind was great, some days a bit less and on the last day no boats coat sail due to thunderstorms with lightning. Burgers Medical Sailing Team had a score of 3-3-3-(14)-10. Overall this resulted in a 2^nd place out of 31 participants in the Valk B class. A great result!

Burgers Medical Sailing Team Jr, sailing in Flits 854, 'Keep Smiling', also took part in the Sneekweek 2008 and they had a score of 3-3-2-(6)-6 which resulted in the 1^st place out of 14 participants in the Flits C class. A magnificent result!
On August 30^th/31^st, 2008 Burgers Medical Sailing Team Jr also reached a 1^st place out of 15 participants in the Flits C class in the open sailing races of Langweer.
